The following conditions are agreed upon between HIPPOtrip \u2013 Turismo Anf\u00edbio, Lda.<\/strong>, headquartered at Rua do A\u00e7\u00facar 76, Armaz\u00e9m 23, 1950-009 Lisbon, corporate entity 508955165, a Tourist Animation Company and Maritime-Touristic Operator with RNAAT n\u00b0 304\/2012, hereinafter referred to as HIPPOtrip<\/strong>, and any person, hereinafter referred to as\u00a0CUSTOMER<\/strong>, who wishes to purchase their transport tickets to enjoy the tourist circuits described on the websites www.hippotrip.com<\/a> and www.hippospeed.com<\/a>.<\/p>

The acquisition of any service provided by HIPPOtrip<\/strong> depends on the registration of\u00a0CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0data, by providing the requested elements at the time of purchase, namely full name, email, and phone number, as well as the full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>

The\u00a0CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0declares to be of legal age (18 years or older) and to have the legal capacity to understand and contract the acquisition of services provided by HIPPOtrip<\/strong>, in accordance with the provisions of these Terms and Conditions.<\/p>

HIPPOtrip<\/strong> guarantees the existence of the tourist circuits published on its websites www.hippotrip.com<\/a> and www.hippospeed.com<\/a> on the date of the respective consultation and declares to use all means at its disposal to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the information contained therein, not assuming, however, in any case, any responsibility if the information provided is not accurate or complete.<\/p>

HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to alter, add or delete in whole or in part these Terms and Conditions, which will take effect after their publication on the websites www.hippotrip.com<\/a> and www.hippospeed.com<\/a>, with the\u00a0CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0always being subject to the Terms and Conditions in force on the date of purchase.<\/p>

These Terms and Conditions have been drafted in accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law 24\/2014, of February 14, as amended by Decree-Law 10\/2023, of March 3, and other applicable legislation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

1. The object of this contract consists of the purchase of tickets by the CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0for the services provided by HIPPOtrip<\/strong>, identified on the websites www.hippotrip.com and www.hippospeed.com, at the prices indicated therein at the time of contracting.<\/p>

2. The contract may be concluded through the following means: online (through the websites www.hippotrip.com and www.hippospeed.com), by phone (through the number +351 211922030), in person at one of the CUSTOMER<\/strong> sales points (pick up point at Doca de Santo Amaro in Alc\u00e2ntara, near the Padr\u00e3o dos Descobrimentos, and at the Sul and Sueste River Station).<\/p>

3. The procedures for purchasing tickets online are as indicated on the websites www.hippotrip.com and www.hippospeed.com, which the CUSTOMER<\/strong> must follow until their formalization, and this is only possible after the express and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which the CUSTOMER <\/strong>acknowledges prior to contracting the services provided by HIPPOtrip<\/strong>.<\/p>

4. The procedures for purchasing tickets by phone are as indicated by the CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0operator at the time of purchase, which the CUSTOMER<\/strong> must follow until their formalization, and this is only possible after the express and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which are available for consultation on the websites www.hippotrip.com and www.hippospeed.com. The CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0retains the right to cancel the purchase, according to the deadlines established in the Terms and Conditions.<\/p>

5. The procedures for purchasing tickets in person are as indicated by the CUSTOMER<\/strong> operator at the time of purchase, which the CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0must follow until their formalization, and this is only possible after the express and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions, which will be available for consultation at the HIPPOtrip<\/strong> sales points and on the websites www.hippotrip.com and www.hippospeed.com.<\/p>

7. The prices indicated on the websites www.hippotrip.com and www.hippospeed.com or by the HIPPOtrip<\/strong> operator at the time of purchase are in euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force.<\/p>

8. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right, at any time and without prior notice, to change ticket prices, as well as to suspend or permanently cancel their sale, without prejudice to the rights arising from purchases already made by the CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>

9. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> tickets are sold for a specific date and time, and the CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0can only change them by sending a request via email to info@hippotrip.com at least 96 hours before the date\/time of the purchased tickets. The change of date and\/or time of the tickets will only take effect after confirmation of availability by HIPPOtrip<\/strong> via email.<\/p>

10. Online payments are available via MB Way, Apple Pay, or VISA or Mastercard. If paying by card, the CUSTOMER<\/strong> will need to enter the card details \u2014 number, expiry date, and CVV code \u2014 into the Reduniq platform. In-person sales at HIPPOtrip<\/strong> sales points also accept payments in cash and via Multibanco.<\/p>

11. The online ticket purchase procedure will be finalized by entering the data referred to in the previous number and their respective validation by Reduniq, after which a payment receipt will be automatically sent by email to the CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/p>

12. After payment confirmation, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> will issue an invoice\/ticket, which will also be automatically sent by email to the CUSTOMER<\/strong> . If, for any reason, the CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0does not receive the invoice\/ticket within a maximum period of 2 hours after payment confirmation, they should contact HIPPOtrip<\/strong> via email at info@hippotrip.com.<\/p>

13. The CUSTOMER<\/strong>\u00a0is fully responsible for the destination of the ticket(s), namely for their non-use, loss, theft, robbery, or destruction, and cannot, by virtue of such facts, demand any compensation or indemnity from HIPPOtrip<\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

1. The CUSTOMER<\/strong> may terminate this contract and request the refund of the full amount of purchase without payment of any compensation and without any specific reason, within a maximum of 48 hours after confirmation of payment, provided that the time limit of 96 hours before the tour date\/time of tickets purchased is not exceeded.<\/p>\n

2. The right of free contract termination by the CUSTOMER<\/strong> shall be exercised in accordance with the time limits specified in the preceding paragraph, upon notice by the CUSTOMER<\/strong> sent via e-mail address to info@hippotrip.com.<\/p>\n

3. Upon receipt of notice of termination of this contract and upon validation of compliance of the deadlines, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> will provide a full refund of the price paid by the CUSTOMER<\/strong>, within 30 days via the same payment method used in the purchase process.<\/p>\n

1. The pick-up (and drop-off) point for HIPPOtrip <\/b>amphibious tours is located at one of the docks in the Doca de Santo Amaro marina in Alc\u00e2ntara, Lisbon (Google Maps<\/a>).<\/p>

2. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> tickets are sold for a specific date and time. If the CUSTOMER<\/strong> (and all members included in their booking) is not present near the designated boarding area at the pick-up location on the date and time of the ticket purchased, then HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to cancel the purchase and the CUSTOMER<\/strong> will not be entitled to any refund or damages from HIPPOtrip<\/strong>. For this reason, all the passengers must be present at the pick-up point at least 20 minutes before departure time.<\/p>

3. Considering that the vehicles used by HIPPOtrip<\/strong> are mechanical and that they circulate in public spaces, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> may have to cancel a scheduled tour for a particular day\/time at short notice or even during the journey itself. In these situations, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> will make every possible effort to accommodate the CUSTOMER<\/strong> on the next available tour and, if not possible or desired by the CUSTOMER<\/strong>, a full refund shall be made.\u00a0CUSTOMER<\/strong> accepts that they do not claim any<\/span> other compensation or damages from HIPPOtrip<\/strong> beyond the refund issued.<\/p>

4. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> operates rain or shine. Keep in mind that HIPPOtrip<\/strong> vehicles are open-sided and that conditions on the River Tagus are often cooler\/windier than on land, so please dress appropriately.<\/p>

5. All instructions and commands given by HIPPOtrip<\/strong> staff, both at time of boarding, as well as while aboard its vehicles and inside its facilities, must be followed and respected in order to maintain the appropriate safety conditions.<\/p>

6. The CUSTOMER<\/strong> must present his\/her ticket (in digital format or paper) when boarding any HIPPOtrip<\/strong> vehicle, if requested by HIPPOtrip<\/strong> staff.<\/p>

7. The seats inside the amphibious vehicles are numbered and assigned by HIPPOtrip<\/strong> at the time of boarding; therefore, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> is committed to maximizing the separation between customers from different groups\/reservations whenever possible. HIPPOtrip <\/b>reserves the right to refuse the presence on board the amphibious vehicles to any CUSTOMER<\/strong> who refuses to occupy the assigned seats.<\/p>

8. All passengers must travel in their respective seats, and the use of seat belts is mandatory (including all children, regardless of age), as required by current legislation.<\/p>

9. Children under two years of age are not allowed aboard HIPPOtrip<\/strong> vehicles. Children (2-16 years of age) are also not allowed without being accompanied by an adult or senior. To meet the requirement of this paragraph, each adult or senior can monitor up to a maximum of 5 children.<\/p>

10. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to ask for identification of any passenger in order to confirm that the purchased ticket is in accordance with the passenger\u2019s age. If the legitimacy of the ticket cannot be confirmed, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to refuse access to its vehicle and the CUSTOMER<\/strong> will not be entitled to any refund.<\/p>

11. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to refuse access to its vehicles or even expel during the tour, any passenger who, in the opinion of HIPPOtrip<\/strong> staff, is causing a disturbance, repeatedly ignoring HIPPOtrip<\/strong> staff instructions, or jeopardizing the safety of other passengers. In these situations, the CUSTOMER<\/strong> will not be entitled to any refund.<\/p>

12. For safety reasons in the case of an emergency, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to refuse access aboard its amphibious vehicles to any passenger who can not enter the vehicle by his\/her own means without the help of other people at the time of boarding. In these situations, the CUSTOMER<\/strong> will not be entitled to any refund.<\/p>

13. CUSTOMERS<\/strong> are not allowed to bring luggage or other bulky items aboard the amphibious vehicles. These objects can be left at the HIPPOtrip<\/strong> ticket office during the tour, but HIPPOtrip<\/strong> is not responsible for any damages or losses of any nature to these objects.<\/p>

14. The consumption of food or beverages aboard the amphibious vehicle (with the exception of water in plastic bottles) is not allowed.<\/p>

15.\u00a0Without prejudice to the provisions of specific legislation, the CUSTOMER<\/strong> <\/span>is allowed to transport small domestic animals free of charge, provided they do not pose a danger, are in a proper state of health and hygiene, and remain properly enclosed in an appropriate container.<\/span><\/p>

Domestic animals may not, under any circumstances, occupy the seats in passenger vehicles, and must either occupy the floor space corresponding to the CUSTOMER<\/strong>‘s seat or be held on the CUSTOMER<\/strong>‘s lap. The safety of the animal’s container during the journey is the responsibility of the CUSTOMER<\/strong> .<\/p>

Each passenger may not transport more than one container with domestic animals.<\/p>

Assistance dogs (trained or in training to help individuals with visual, auditory, mental, or physical disabilities) are allowed in vehicles without being muzzled and without the requirement of a specific container, provided that proof of their certification is presented, according to Decree-Law No. 74\/2007 of March 27.<\/p>

The transport of medium and large animals, as well as dangerous and potentially dangerous animals, is prohibited according to Decree-Law No. 315\/2009 of October 29, as amended by Law No. 9\/2021 of January 29.<\/p>

HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to prevent the boarding or presence of any animal in the vehicle that causes discomfort to other passengers and\/or affects the smooth operation of the trip.<\/p>

For safety reasons, in the event of an emergency on the river, no domestic or assistance animals will be allowed on the life rafts.<\/p>

The CUSTOMER<\/strong> wishing to transport animals on a HIPPOtrip <\/b>amphibious tour must sign a document acknowledging acceptance of all the conditions outlined above.<\/p>

13. Due to maritime safety regulation, the side walls of the amphibious vehicles are high and may limit visibility to some children. The CUSTOMER<\/strong> is allowed to bring a booster seat aboard the amphibious vehicles for use by children as long as each booster seat is \u201cType 3\u201d, which can be fastened to the seats with a 2-point seat belt.<\/p>

17. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to change the tour route as described in the website www.hippotrip.com, replacing it by a similar one in case of traffic constraints, road closures or any other restrictions beyond its control. In these situations, the CUSTOMER<\/strong> will not be entitled to any refund.<\/p>

18. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> reserves the right to suspend the maritime portion of the tour route described on the website www.hippotrip.com for reasons of adverse weather conditions, tidal currents, excessive maritime agitation, or any eventual roadway constraints\/restrictions that limit access to the water entry ramp and\/or jeopardize passenger safety. In these situations, the CUSTOMER<\/strong> may request a refund up to 50% of the price paid for the tickets via e-mail to info@hippotrip.com or in person at any HIPPOtrip<\/strong> ticket office. Upon verification, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> will then provide the refund within 30 days by the same method of payment used for the purchase procedure.<\/p>

19. If HIPPOtrip<\/strong> is unable to complete a tour as described in the website www.hippotrip.com, and if the two preceding paragraphs are not applicable, the CUSTOMER<\/strong> shall be entitled to a full refund, but may not claim any other compensation or damages.<\/p>

20. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> will take all measures within its power to ensure that the tours finish at the scheduled time. However, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> assumes no liability for any inconvenience or direct\/indirect damage caused to the CUSTOMER<\/strong> by potential delays.<\/p>

21. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> is not responsible for any object that is left, lost or stolen in the vehicle or in any of its facilities. However, HIPPOtrip<\/strong> will take every step within its power to ensure that any object found will be kept at the departure point ticket office for a maximum period of 30 days.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

1. The pick-up and drop-off location for HIPPOspeed <\/b>speedboat rides is located at Esta\u00e7\u00e3o Fluvial Sul e Sueste, in Lisbon, near Pra\u00e7a do Com\u00e9rcio.<\/p>

2. Tickets for HIPPOspeed speedboat rides are sold for a specific date and time. In the event that the CUSTOMER <\/b>(and all individuals included in the reservation) is not present at the boarding area on the scheduled date and time of the purchased ticket, HIPPOtrip reserves the right to cancel the purchase without issuing a refund. For this reason, all passengers must be present at the pick-up location at least 20 minutes before the departure time.<\/p>

3. HIPPOtrip <\/b>commits to presenting the boats in perfect condition, duly licensed and inspected for the exercise of maritime tourism activities.<\/p>

4. All boats have the required safety equipment as required by law and suitable for the navigation area, with annual inspections carried out by the competent authorities, including flares, parachutes, life rafts, fire extinguishers, smoke signals, compasses, among others.<\/p>

5. All boats have first aid kits on board.<\/p>

6. All crew members are properly certified and have the necessary experience to operate the boats.<\/p>

7. All crew members are trained to perform emergency maneuvers, if necessary, according to the navigation area and the type of emergency.<\/p>

8. For safety reasons, children under 6 years old and animals are not allowed on board HIPPOspeed boats. For the same reasons, these rides are not recommended for pregnant women or individuals with neck, spine, hip, and\/or knee problems.<\/p>

9. We advise the use of sunscreen, even on cloudy days. Please remember that conditions on the Tagus River are often colder\/windier than on land, so appropriate clothing and comfortable footwear should be worn.<\/p>

Weather conditions, namely wind and waves, have a direct impact on the amount of splashing inside the vehicle. Therefore, HIPPOtrip is not responsible for any damage and\/or loss of electronic equipment (such as, but not limited to, mobile phones, hearing aids, cameras, and similar devices) that may occur as a result of this phenomenon.<\/p>

10. The presentation of the invoice\/ticket by the CUSTOMER <\/b>(in digital or paper format) is mandatory at the time of boarding if requested by HIPPOtrip <\/b>staff members.<\/p>

11. HIPPOtrip reserves the right to request identification from any passenger to confirm that the purchased ticket corresponds to their age. If the legitimacy of the purchased ticket is not confirmed, HIPPOtrip reserves the right to refuse boarding the boat, and no refund of the ticket price will be provided to the CUSTOMER <\/b>by HIPPOtrip.<\/p>

12. Before boarding, all passengers are informed about safety instructions and the characteristics of the HIPPOspeed speedboat ride.<\/p>

13. Life jackets are provided to all passengers, and their use is mandatory.<\/p>

14. Passengers must behave responsibly throughout the ride, contributing to their own safety on board.<\/p>

15. The CUSTOMER <\/b>will be held responsible for any damages caused to the boat due to misconduct, deliberate damage, or failure to comply with the crew’s instructions.<\/p>

16. HIPPOtrip <\/b>is not responsible for damages to electronic devices, mobile phones, cameras, wallets, or other belongings brought by the CUSTOMER <\/b>on board the boat.<\/p>

17. Entry may be refused to the CUSTOMER <\/b>who:<\/p>

a) Cannot board the boat on their own;<\/p>

b) Is visibly intoxicated or under the influence of psychotropic substances, to the extent that they may disturb or harm other passengers;<\/p>

c) Carries weapons that are not properly secured (according to applicable law) or dangerous objects, unless identified as a law enforcement agent.<\/p>

18. Smoking, eating, or drinking (except bottled water) is not allowed on board the boats.<\/p>

19. HIPPOtrip <\/b>reserves the right to change the circuit and\/or established schedules at any time without prior notice, as well as to temporarily or permanently suspend HIPPOspeed speedboat rides.<\/p>

20. If, due to adverse weather conditions or excessive maritime currents\/agitation that compromise the safety of its customers, HIPPOtrip <\/b>cannot operate the HIPPOspeed speedboat ride, the\u00a0CUSTOMER <\/b>will be entitled to a full refund of the total purchase amount and cannot demand any additional compensation from HIPPOtrip <\/b>other than the refund.<\/span><\/p>

21. 1. HIPPOtrip<\/strong> vouchers can be purchased in physical or digital format, through the email address info@hippotrip.com or directly at a HIPPOtrip<\/strong>\u00a0ticket office.<\/p>

2. HIPPOtrip<\/strong>\u00a0vouchers are sold according to the current pricing table for HIPPOtrip<\/b>\u00a0products at the time of purchase, as stated on the website.<\/p>

3. HIPPOtrip<\/b> vouchers are valid for 3 months from the date of purchase; this date is stated on the voucher itself. HIPPOtrip<\/b>\u00a0vouchers associated with promotional\/special campaigns will be subject to the specific conditions of price, usage, and validity defined in the respective campaign, as advertised on the communication channels where the campaign is promoted.<\/p>

4. HIPPOtrip<\/span>\u00a0vouchers are purchased for a specific number of passengers, by age group, and are comprised of a unique-use code. For this reason, rescheduling, changing the number of passengers and\/or their age groups, or partial use is not possible.<\/p>

5.\u00a0HIPPOtrip<\/span>\u00a0vouchers may be used for the specific service for which they were purchased (HIPPOtrip\u00a0<\/span>or HIPPOspeed<\/b>) on any day and time, subject to availability, as long as they are within the validity period.<\/p>

6. The\u00a0CUSTOMER<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>may request a full refund of the purchase amount, without any penalty and without needing to provide a reason, within 48 hours after the confirmation of voucher payment. Deficiencies or shortcomings in the communication networks, as well as those caused by the computer system, modems, connection software, and\/or any computer virus that may affect the software and\/or equipment belonging to the CUSTOMER<\/strong>, for instance when appropriate software protection is not installed.<\/p>

5. Failure to capture, view or use the HIPPOtrip<\/strong> website and\/or the telephone answering system;<\/p>

6. Unauthorized use of HIPPOtrip<\/strong> software, equipment and\/or facilities;<\/p>

7. Causes of force majeure, such as unforeseeable and unavoidable situations, or even when predictable inevitable, among which, merely for illustration purposes: strikes or labor disputes that prevent or hinder the provision of services sold, accidents, fires, floods, earthquakes, pandemics, wars, trade embargoes, or any kind of legislative change.<\/p>

8. The CUSTOMER<\/strong> is responsible for his or her personal data and eventual updating thereof, and he or she shall also ensure its confidentiality.<\/p>

9.
